Quick rising Nigerian singer, M-Josh dropped a message filled record titled Aburi Accord.
Aburi Accord is an Afrobeat. The fast rising artist had his music influenced by recent happening in Nigeria.
His new song revolves about deep issues in Nigeria.
M-Josh delivered the record in the traditional Fela or Burna Boy’s approach. There’s no hiding where M-Josh’s inspirations leak from.
Kicking off the track, M-josh talks about Nigeria still trying to break up 54 years after independence. You can hear him say, “lives e Don go, people don kpai, things e don spoil”. This drives deep home how Nigeria as a country has fared over the years.
M-Josh goes ahead to talk about the misunderstanding between Gen. Gowon and Late. Ojukwu after meeting with Gen. Ankrah of Ghana, placing the laces on how it led to the civil war and caused deaths.
He goes ahead to link the situations of the past to the present. Narrating how Nigerians have woken up and realising the deeds done against them. He gives also reference to the End Sars protests as a pointer to Nigerians waking up.
Aburi Accord is a track worth listening and would stand the test of time if given an opportunity.
