Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has issued a two-month ultimatum to eggheads of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over his future with the national team, insisting he might be forced to quit the job if the situation is not quickly addressed.
The Eagles are unbeaten in their first two group games of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after two impressive draws against Ukraine’s Yellow-Blue and Brazil’s Selecao.
Recently, the Franco-German tactician held talks with Nigeria’s Sports Minister Sunday Dare over extending his contract for two or three years, with his current deal with the NFF set to run out in June 2020.
“There is tremendous potential in this team, with great players like Osimhen,” Rohr was quoted as saying to sofoot.com
“There are interesting prospects, such as the AFCON 2021, the World Cup 2022. But first, we must regularize things.”

Interestingly, Rohr submitted that from January 1, 2020, he will be ” free to engage elsewhere “, if nothing is sorted out.
